	•	HP LaserJet print cartridges and other supplies are backed by a limited warranty.
	•	HP LaserJet Cartridges: Warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
	•	HP Colour LaserJet Bottles: Warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from date of purchase.
	•	HP Colour LaserJet Drum Kits: Warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.
	•	HP LaserJet Fuser and Transfer Kits: Warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year or until the "low-life" message appears, whichever comes first.

Date of Manufacture on Packaging
The date of manufacture on the toner cartridge box is intended for HP internal processes and may be required to comply with regulatory standards in certain countries. The date of manufacture is not an expiration or “use before” date. There is no expiration date for the use of HP toner cartridges.
Not Covered
Cartridge limited warranty does not cover cartridges which have reached the end of their estimated useful life, or have been refilled, remanufactured, are emptied, are abused, are missing, or are tampered with in any way.
Non-HP Laser Print Cartridge Use
For HP printer products, the use of a non-HP toner cartridge or a refilled toner cartridge does not affect either the warranty to the customer or any HP support contract with the customer. However, if printer failure or damage is attributable to the use of a non-HP or refilled toner cartridge, HP will charge its standard time and materials charges to service the printer for the particular failure or damage.
Returning HP Cartridge Product
In the event the cartridge proves defective, the customer should package the cartridge in the product box (or something similar) and provide name, address, phone number, place of purchase, and a brief description of problem and if possible attach a supplies status page and print sample illustrating the defect. If there is an HP case number, this should be included as well. The paperwork and cartridge should be returned to the place of purchase, where a replacement may be given.

This warranty applies to HP ink cartridges, printheads, and related supplies. NOTE: This warranty supersedes all previous warranties.

What this warranty covers
Each HP ink cartridge, printhead, and related supply is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the period of the warranty. This warranty pertains to any HP ink cartridge or printhead when used in its designated HP or authorised original equipment manufacturer (OEM) printing device. See the product manual for the printer to determine the correct ink cartridge, printhead, or related supply selection.
What this warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover HP ink products that have been refilled, remanufactured, refurbished, misused, or tampered with.
How long the coverage lasts
Ink Cartridges - The coverage lasts until the HP ink is depleted or the “Warranty Ends” date has been reached, whichever occurs first. Printheads - The coverage lasts until the “Warranty Ends” date has been reached or the warranted usage limit has been reached, whichever occurs first

HP 10 and 11 printheads: Black: 530 ml Colour: 200 ml HP 14 printheads: Black: 550 ml Colour: 400 ml HP 70, 72, 73 printheads: 1000 ml HP 80, 81, 83 printheads: 1000 ml HP 84 printheads: 200 ml HP 85 printheads: Black: 530 ml Colour: 200 ml HP 90 printheads: 1000 ml HP 91 printheads and maintenance cartridges: 1200 ml HP 940 printheads: 560 ml
Warranty Ends date locations
To find the “Warranty Ends” date, look in the following table for the date's location on each products . The date follows the YYYY/MM/DD or YYYY/MM format, where YYYY indicates the year, MM indicates the month, and DD indicates the day.



What HP will do
HP will, at HP's option, either replace products under warranty that prove to be defective or refund the purchase price.
How to make a claim, or return an HP Inkjet product
If a problem with an HP Inkjet product occurs, visit the retailer, call the regional customer support phone number listed on the product insert, or click the "Contact HP" link at the top of this page before the end of the warranty period.
How state, province, or country laws apply
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights that vary from state to state, province to province, or country to country. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL, IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND HEWLETT-PACKARD SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR SATISFACTORY QUALITY. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY LOCAL LAW, THE REMEDIES IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL HEWLETT-PACKARD BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS FROM ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE.
